Susie MacLean, M.S.
Passionate about health and wellness, Susie prides herself on both her personal and professional commitment to living and supporting a balanced lifestyle. She is a seasoned motivational speaker with a reputation for inspiring her audience with engaging examples and workshop concepts that offer real world applications.
Prior to joining Presbyterian, Susie was President and CEO of The Solutions Group, a wellness and Employee Assistance Program company she founded with business partner Adam Stern in 1999. Presbyterian purchased The Solutions Group in 2013.
As a leader, Susie values inclusion and collaboration as tools for gaining employee trust and loyalty. During her 14 years as a successful business owner, Susie created a work environment that fostered both creativity and empowerment. She has continued that approach in her role at Presbyterian, where many members of the original TSG team continue to work today. TSG partners with clients in much the same way, developing programs and services to meet the unique health needs of their employees while making individual wellbeing a top priority.
Susie earned both her Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Science in Community Health Education from the University of New Mexico. She is a 2001 graduate of Leadership Albuquerque and a 2005 graduate of the Entrepreneurial Leadership Accelerator Program. In 2013, Albuquerque Business First named Susie a Woman of Influence honoree.
Rick Vinnay, LCSW, CEAP
EAP Clinical Director
Rick has worked in the behavioral health field since 1996, spending most of his time in EAP management. In addition to his administrative duties at The Solutions Group, he provides consultation to supervisors, managers and Human Resources professionals, conducts organizational interventions, and leads workshops.
Rick’s expertise includes working with a very diverse client population in a wide variety of settings with a multitude of presenting issues. His practical and empathic approach to problem solving allows him to serve clients in virtually any situation. In addition to being a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP), Rick is a certified Substance Abuse Professional (SAP), a qualified professional counselor in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EDMR) Trauma Therapy, a qualified Critical Incident Stress Debriefing (CISD) provider, and a member of the Employee Assistance Professionals Association. These skills, qualifications and talents, combined with his experience working in national and multinational organizations, make him an invaluable resource for employees.
Rick earned his Masters in Social Work from University of Illinois Chicago Campus, where he attended the Jane Adams School of Social Work. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Lawrence Technological University (Southfield, Mich.).
Manager, Health & Wellness
As Manager of the Health and Wellness arm of The Solutions Group, Renee assists the Executive Director with oversight of the department’s day to day activities including budgeting and strategy as well providing guidance and support to the team on program development. Throughout her career, Renee has worked in various healthcare settings, where she focused on compliance, legal, finance, provider credentialing, marketing and employee safety.
Prior to joining The Solutions Group, Renee served as the Strategic Planning Manager for Presbyterian Healthcare Services where she managed the organization’s annual planning process. She has also held positions as the Manager of Business Services at the University of New Mexico Student Health and Counseling Center; Finance Officer for the Village of Corrales; Executive Budget Analyst with the New Mexico Department of Finance and Administration; and Strategic Planning Analyst with Sharp Healthcare, a non-profit health system in San Diego, Calif.Renee received her Bachelor of Science degree in Public Administration from San Diego State University.
