Presbyterian leads the way with use of asynchronous telehealth

November 18, 2019 Featured In the News

While many health systems still use video-only options for telehealth, Presbyterian is moving telehealth forward through the use of asynchronous surveying. The survey tool, called Online Visits, completes a visit for ailments like cold, flu or urinary tract infections in less than 15 minutes with nearly no wait time.

In the interview with mHealth Intelligence, chief innovation officer Ries Robinson shares, "We've got a continuous, seamless, low-friction experience that our patients want. When you place that into the continuum of care, you've done something that is terrific."
