Presbyterian Healthcare Services (PHS) employees participate in a Defined Contribution Plan -- the Shared Security Plan. Under this plan:

  • Employees receive a contribution for each year they work 1,000 hours for PHS
  • Employees can also contribute to a 403(b) plan with a matching provision Investment options range from aggressive to conservative plans
  • Shared Security is available to you immediately upon employment
  • Generally, matching contributions are made after one year (1,000 hours) of service, if other eligibility criteria are met
  • Individualized financial planning is available

Presbyterian Health Plan, Inc. employees participate in a Defined Contribution Plan - the Shared Security 401(k) Plan. Under this plan:

  • Employees receive a contribution for each year they work 1,000 hours for PHP
  • Employees can also contribute to the plan with a matching provision by Presbyterian Health Plan Investment options range from aggressive to conservative plans
  • Shared Security is available immediately upon employment
  • Generally, matching contributions are made after one year (1,000 hours) of service, if other eligibility criteria are met
  • Individualized financial planning is available
