Dedicated to improving the health of our community, Behavioral Health at Presbyterian offers the treatment you need for lasting recovery from substance abuse, behavioral health conditions, or psychiatric emergencies.
We offer a team approach to care, and provide a full range of psychiatric and substance abuse services for children, adolescents, and adults. Our care team includes psychiatrists, psychologists, nurse practitioners, therapists, psychiatric social workers, registered nurses, and behavioral health technicians.
We provide individual and group therapy and medication management services in a variety of settings, including an inpatient hospital, outpatient psychiatric clinics, and primary and specialty care clinics.

Behavioral Health at Your Primary Care Clinic
We offer behavioral healthcare at Presbyterian Medical Group primary and specialty care clinics throughout central New Mexico. If you are in need behavioral health services and you are assigned to a provider at one of our clinics, ask your provider for a referral.

Behavioral Health Specialty Care Clinics
We offer outpatient behavioral health services at our Presbyterian Medical Group specialty care clinics. Services include individual and group therapy, medication evaluation and management, psychological testing, and more.

Inpatient Behavioral Health Services
We provide acute psychiatric stabilization in secure inpatient settings that include diagnostic evaluation and medication management, group therapy, psychosocial evaluation, and family engagement.
Inpatient care is available for child and adolescent and adult and geriatric patients, in designated units with all private rooms. Our inpatient units are newly redesigned and provide a welcoming environment, enhanced to compliment treatment approaches and improve safety.

Recovery Programs for Substance Use Disorders
Our goal is to meet you where you are in your recovery – acknowledging that there is need for change, that you are ready for change, and that recovery is possible. Our recovery programs are designed to help you recover from substance abuse and addiction. We provide assessment and support when you are struggling with family, relationship, work, health, and legal issues as a result of your substance abuse. Our services include individual substance use disorders counseling for adults and adolescents (age 13 and up).
