Pediatric Neurology

Neurology is a medical specialty that focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of disorders in the brain and nervous system. Some of the conditions our neurologists see pediatric patients for include headaches, seizure disorders and epilepsy. Our pediatric neurologists are part of our multi-disciplinary Neuroscience team.

Conditions Treated

A few common conditions treated include:

  • Dizziness and vertigo
  • Developmental delays
  • Congenital birth defects, including spina bifida
  • Epilepsy and seizure disorders
  • Headaches, migraines and facial pain
  • Abnormal mental development, including speech and learning disabilities
  • Movement disorders, including essential tremor, dystonia, tics and cerebral palsy
  • Muscle weakness and/or muscle loss, including muscular dystrophy and multiple sclerosis

  • Comprehensive treatment plans for neurologic conditions including movement disorders, muscle weakness and pain or weakness from nerve damage
