Testing Patients and Members for COVID-19
Patients must be screened before receiving a COVID-19 test. All COVID-19 testing is free to all who are screened and need testing. There are no copays or prior authorizations needed.
Patients can get screened for COVID-19 by calling the state Coronavirus Hotline at 1-855-600-3453 or completing a free online screening. Once screened, patients can visit a testing site.

If a test returns as positive for COVID-19, the New Mexico Department of Health will reach out to coordinate next steps.
