Makenzie Peterson, DSW, MSc

Vice President, Employee Assistance and Well-being Programs

Dr. Makenzie Peterson is a behavioral and population health professional by training who brings a preventative, systems-based lens to her organizational change and social impact work as the Vice President of Employee Assistance & Well-Being Programs at The Solutions Group (a division of Presbyterian Healthcare Services). Having conducted work at the individual, organizational, national, and international level, Dr. Peterson provides subject-matter expertise on evidence-based health and workplace wellbeing practices and how organizations and professions can improve overall wellbeing by addressing the root causes of distress. Prior to her current role, Dr. Peterson was the first Wellbeing Program Director at Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine, the first Director for Wellbeing at the American Association of Veterinary Medical Colleges (AAVMC), as well as an organizational wellbeing and strategy consultant. She led efforts to improve the wellbeing of trainees, clinicians, staff, and faculty while at AAVMC by conducting the first national-level research on mental health and workplace wellbeing for these groups and providing organizational recommendations and consultation for program development and implementation.

Dr. Peterson has done contract work for Harvard Medical School, Harvard School of Public Health, Merck Animal Health, Royal Canin, American Animal Hospital Association, and was a health specialist for a Harvard-MIT sponsored start-up based in Harvard Business School’s Innovation Lab. She is also currently a member of the National Academy of Medicine Action Collaborative on Clinician Well-Being and Resilience, and formerly a board member of the Women’s Veterinary Leadership Development Initiative. Born and raised in Alaska, Dr. Peterson completed her master’s degree from the University of Utah in Health Promotion & Health Education and her Doctorate of Social Work from the University of Southern California.

Lindsey Campos, LPCC, CEAP, SAP

EAP Director

Lindsey Campos is an LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor) and CEAP (Certified Employee Assistance Professional). Lindsey has over 15 years of experience working in the Behavioral Health field. During her career she has worked as both a direct care provider and supervisor in community counseling and substance use treatment, and in managed care doing utilization management, quality improvement, and population health management. Most recently, Lindsey was the EAP Manager for the City of Albuquerque for 4 years, prior to joining the Solutions Group as EAP Director.

Born and raised in Albuquerque, NM, Lindsey is very passionate about helping New Mexicans to achieve their best health. She is dedicated to working with employers to promote employee health and well-being, increase workplace safety, and improve workplace culture, employee retention, and productivity.

Lindsey earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from University of New Mexico in 2007, her master’s degree in counseling psychology from Webster University in 2009, and her doctorate in behavioral health from Arizona State University in 2017.

Adriana Lopez

Director, Operations Workplace Well-being

As Director Health & Wellness Client Services, Adriana leads a team of Wellness Coordinators and serves as the first point of contact for many new and existing clients.  Adriana joined TSG as a Wellness Coordinator in 2015. Prior to that, she worked as a freelance graphic designer producing promotional materials for The Solutions Group and its clients. She spent several years living abroad and throughout the United States while her spouse was in the military. In 2014 Adriana and her family moved to New Mexico permanently. She is taps into her life journey to provide enhanced client experience.

Adriana holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Texas at Austin.
