Naomi Marquez, LPCC, SAP, CEAP

EAP Client Services Manager

Naomi is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). As the EAP Client Services Manager, Naomi’s primary focus at The Solutions Group is working closely with our client companies to promote the EAP benefit for their employees. She earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in counseling from the University of New Mexico.

Elaine J.C. DeBassige, M.A., LPPC, LPC, CEAP

EAP Clinical Manager

Elaine is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in New Mexico and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Colorado. She has over 20 years of experience in a variety of settings including: intensive outpatient treatment, K-12 schools, higher education, private practice, non-profit, and commercial settings. Elaine’s approach to counseling is strengths-based, utilizing cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused counseling techniques. Her areas of counseling expertise are multicultural counseling, life transitions, marriage and family therapy, identity development, performance, grief, and career discernment. She earned her bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Notre Dame, her masters in Counseling Psychology and Counselor Education from the University of Colorado Denver, and a professional certificate in Sport and Performance Psychology from the University of Denver.

Judy Sanchez

Office Manager

Judy has 20 years of experience in office management.  Her expertise is in accounts receivable, accounts payable and payroll.  Judy oversees the office in a manner to ensure processes run as smooth as possible for staff and people we partner with. She is the point of contact for questions regarding billing and payments.

She is also committed to providing our staff with the necessary tools to provide excellent quality service. In addition to her main job duties, she assists with answering phone calls and scheduling our clients promptly and efficiently.

A New Mexico native, Judy earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and an Associate’s degree in Applied Science from National American University.

Mari Lyford, MSW, LCSW, SAP, CEAP

EAP Lead Counselor and Consultant

Mari is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), a Substance Abuse Professional (DOT), and a Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP).   As a SAP, she conducts employee drug and alcohol assessments per Department of Transportation regulations and employer drug and alcohol policies. She is also trained in Critical Incident Stress Debriefing (CISD).  Prior to joining The Solutions Group in 2015, Mari worked as an exercise specialist in cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation. She earned her bachelor’s degree in exercise science from the University of New Mexico and her master’s degree in clinical social work from New Mexico Highlands University.

Paul Bonnell, LCSW, SAP

EAP Counselor and Consultant

Paul is an independently Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) from the state of New Mexico. He has worked with diverse ages and populations in a variety of clinical settings including Employee Assistance Program, Substance Abuse Treatment, Treatment Foster Care, Adolescent Homeless Shelter, Public School System, and Outpatient Clinic. Paul holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Eastern New Mexico University and a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of New Mexico. He earned his Master of Social Work degree from New Mexico State University.

Kerttu Reesna, LMSW

EAP Counselor and Consultant

Kerttu is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW). She has over 10 years of experience in variety of settings including: domestic violence, child protective services, early childhood intervention, policy making and advocacy, and sexual assault. Kerttu’s approach to counseling is strength based, and trauma informed, using solution focused counseling techniques. Her areas of counseling expertise are trauma, grief and loss, and multicultural counseling. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the Portland State University and her master’s degree in social work from the New Mexico State University.

Brenda Tanguma, LMHC

EAP Counselor and Consultant

Brenda is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). She began her professional career in substance abuse treatment working closely with homeless populations and patients working on recovery. She worked with clients utilizing medication assisted treatment options with counseling to improve behaviors and life situations to create a stronger life in recovery. She completed clinical hours in NM state correctional facilities through their Intensive Outpatient Program and worked with inmates to improve their outcomes for release and managing their mental health symptoms for a successful release to society. She then spent time working with children and their families to improve family dynamics with the nurtured heart approach and play therapy. Brenda earned her Masters Degree in the Science of Psychology from The University of Phoenix while stationed in Italy with her family. She earned her Certificate in Substance Abuse Counselor from Central New Mexico Community College.

Shelly Dallas, LMSW

EAP Counselor and Consultant

Shelly is a Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW). As an EAP counselor Shelly has 10 years of experience in human services before becoming a social worker in 2017. Shelly’s approach to counseling is based on holistic treatment, strength building and person-centered solutions. Shelly has counseled with a wide variety of clients effected by social anxiety, women’s issues, depression, addiction and challenges within the LGBTQ community. She offers a safe and supportive place for the difficult conversations that can lead to desired outcomes. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice at the University of Texas at El Paso, her masters in Social Work from University of Southern California.

Rachel Baca, MSW

EAP Clinical Specialist

Rachel is a Master Social Worker (MSW) with a concentration in Leadership and Administration. She has experience working in direct care with individuals and families experiencing homelessness, addiction, domestic violence, and the LGBTQ+ community. Rachel assisted these populations in find housing and appropriate resources for their unique circumstances. Her communication and de-escalation training are pivotal in how she conducts customer service with each client and organization she interacts with. Rachel earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree at New Mexico Highland’s University. She is the Clinical Specialist at The Solutions Group and will be assisting clients in finding a counselor that meets their needs.
